This is where, in my opinion, most of my skill show itself when it comes to creating digital art—this is the page that also consists of my most favorite things I’ve created. Most of my whimsical attitude shows itself here, and where most of my color motifs are (pink and turquoise).
Illustrations
These illustrations were created using an iPad, using the app Procreate. All of the brushes that I use for these are the default brushes that come with Procreate; some of them have been altered or adjusted to better suit what I need from it, but other than that, I didn’t use anything else to create them! Down below, most of them (if not, almost all) are from Visual Vocabularies I have created over the previous quarters, which are creative and visual ways of showcasing words that we know, but spun so that we get creative freedom over how we want to interpret those words.
The illustration that is not part of the visual vocabulary array comes from an assignment, where we needed to create a trading card for one of the multimedia occupations listed for us to choose from. I created one for Graphic Designer. I took some…very creating liberties when it came to creating it, but I still enjoy how it came out! My inspiration comes from associating Sorcerers from Dungeons and Dragons to Graphic Designers; this was also based off multiple assignments where we assigned DND classes to the Myer Briggs personalities, then compared to which of those personalities were most likely to choose which multimedia occupation—this, in turn, we used to compare which DND classes are equivalent to which multimedia occupation. This, in turn, caused me to think abstractly on how to represent a Graphic Designer.

Digital Image Editing
This class I was taking while creating these edited images was probably a class where I had gotten my most creative. From the very first thing I created for this class (the first image below), I knew that I would have a lot of fun with using Photoshop to alter images to create a scene—a one-image story—with whatever I was creating (that wasn’t part of the assignment itself). All of these images come from the same class.
The very last image is my favorite out of all of these. This was the piece that I had felt the most workflow with, and was one that I was very proud of once I was finished with it. This one, to me, can be turned into a short story that explores different light-hearted themes, or different whimsical ideas. The colors within it give me a modern fantasy feeling to it, as though it could be set within this world, but pushes the boundaries with magic, no matter how small or large it could be.
