For the last few years, it has become increasingly more common to be working from home through virtual atmospheres. It has always been a thing, as uncommon as it was to hear about years ago; however, since COVID, most people have switched over to working from home, since we now have the means to meet online and communicate without ever having to physically be there with each other. As a personal aside, I have had my experience of switching over to working online in 2020…it was not that easy of a switch for me (clearly, given by how often I mention it).
In college, I feel like, while I have gotten used to the atmosphere of doing classes from home, I still find it hard for me to keep up with my work, alongside staying motivated. The times where I go to classes in-person—and therefore getting me out of the house—are the times where I feel like I am the most motivated to continue working on my class work.
Thinking about it a little more, I think that getting out of the house and doing something physically helps me more with staying motivated and excited to doing a task. It gets me in the mindset that I will be out doing something productive, and therefore I can continue to have that mindset when I get back home.
